Celebrating God's Work Through the Walk for Justice
On October 8th, a team of volunteers arrived at the Fargo Half Marathon wearing light blue t-shirts to take a step for justice in support of the Mukti Project in India. Led by Tracy Alin and Kimberly Faul, this group of women and men worked tirelessly leading up to the event to raise awareness of the injustices victimizing women throughout India. Funds were raised to purchase land
to build an anti-trafficking center in the heart of West Bengal. Working with EFCA ReachGlobal Justice Initiatives, this team has raised over $14,000 to date. We are excited to celebrate what God did and is doing as people from within our church family cry out to God for justice for the least of these. Justice Initiatives and the Mukti project are committed to educating those most at risk and rescuing women caught in the sex trafficking industry. Consider joining us for prayer the second Sunday of the month as we continue to cry out to the Lord on behalf of these women.
