Celebrating Vacation Bible School
Last week was a very special week for the 230 kids who attended our Vacation Bible School program, SonRock Kids Camp. We want to give a hearty ‘Thank You!’ to the dozens of dedicated volunteers who ministered to our kids from 9-12 p.m. each day. The exciting Bible lessons about Peter’s ups and downs, challenging crafts, heart-felt worship, and energetic games made the week seem to fly by. Thank you for praying for our children. On Thursday we had 14 kids who indicated that they wanted to trust Christ for the first time at the end of our Bible lessons. Join with me in praising God for speaking to the hearts of our children! Wow God! We will send follow-up materials to their parents and continue to pray for their spiritual growth and understanding of their new faith. It was a wonderful way to start the summer.
