Parish Nurse
Bethel is blessed to have a registered nurse serving as our parish nurse. In partnership with our ministry leadership team, Sue Allen, RN participates in support and care for the Bethel family.
Sue serves in a variety of ways:
- Educating through health screenings: blood pressure checks and baby weights
- (1st and 3rd Sunday of the month from 10:00 – 10:45 AM)
- Improving communication between patients and medical/health services
- Assisting with the contact of other resources within the community including: Home Care/Companion Care, Hospice, Meals on Wheels
- Discussing health concerns with attendees seeking guidance and information
- Educating through opportunities on health related topics
- Visiting in your home, in hospitals, in retirement centers, and in nursing homes
- Providing general support and care during time of crisis and celebration in partnership with our pastoral staff
