The Well: Bible Studies for Women
Women at Bethel regularly come together for Bible Study, prayer and a time to connect with one another. Look over our studies and consider joining us for The Well – Women’s Bible small groups and studies. They meet at various times throughout the week. Breaking Free- Beth Moore—Room C
This in-depth women's Bible study draws parallels between the captive Israelites of the Old Testament and New Testament believers in Jesus as the Promised Messiah. Beth looks at the Book of Isaiah through the lives of the kings who ruled during the prophet's ministry. These kings exemplify many of the obstacles to freedom with which we must deal. Using Scripture to help identify spiritual strongholds in your life, no matter how big or small, Beth explains that anything that hinders us from the benefits of knowing God is bondage. Is a lifestyle of sharing Jesus something that is reserved only for those in vocational ministry? What if I told you that the everyday ordinary YOU, living YOUR ordinary life, could be used by God every day to help people find Jesus! Would you join us as we step into the mission field that is right beneath our two feet? Ordinary Influence is a unique evangelism training written by women, for women. Gather together for 8 weeks in a small group setting to discover how to engage those around you with the person of Jesus.
Tuesdays at 7 p.m.
James-Mercy-Triumphs—Room C
James, Jesus' own brother, started out as a skeptic. See how one glimpse of the resurrected Savior turned an unbeliever into a disciple. Bible scholars compare James to the prophet Amos. In other ways, James more closely resembles the Book of Proverbs than any other New Testament book. Topics in this study include: joy, hardship, faith, reversal of fortunes for rich and poor, wisdom, gifts from above, single-mindedness, the dangers of the tongue, humility, and prayer. (8 week study). (Begins Tuesday, January 10th) Book is $15

Coffee is served in Solid Grounds at 8:30 a.m. weekly. Childcare opens at 8:30 a.m. and small groups will begin in rooms promptly at 9:00 a.m. and end at 11:00 a.m.
