What Love Is, by Kelly Minter

Started Tuesday, March 17 and Sunday, March 22.
Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. (Room E) and Sundays at 4 p.m. (Room C)
Cost: $13 for book

The letters of 1, 2, & 3 John were written to encourage followers of Jesus to remain faithful to the truth. Believers are challenged to look at contrasting themes such as walking in the light instead of darkness, truth versus lies and deception, loving God more than loving the world, and the meaning of true fellowship and community rather than shallowness. This study reveals not only the heart of John but also the heart of Jesus. Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:30 in room E beginning March 17th. Sunday evenings in room C  from 4-6 pm beginning March 22nd.

Breathe, Making Room for Sabbath, by Priscilla Shirer

Started Tuesday, March 24. Tuesdays at 9 a.m. (Room C)
Cost: $10 for book

One of the greatest challenges among women in our culture is taking time to stop and cease from all the activities and busyness and just breathe. We are in bondage to busyness. We constantly strive to complete the limitless to-do lists that hinder us from experiencing all that God has for us. We miss the moments because we rush ahead to the next thing. By neglecting time for tranquility, serenity, and repose, we limit our Christlikeness and miss out on some of God’s greatest gifts. It is time for us to breathe and build margin into our lives for God. Tuesday mornings in Room C from 9-11 am. Book is $10. Pre-register for Children’s Ministry with Delia Williams at deliawilliams@bethelfc.com.
