Pastor Jonas hosted an online webinar conversation around racism and reconciliation with friends from Bethel Church on June 24, 2020. Our guests for the first conversation were Shontarius Aikens and Jagila Minso. Shontarius has been a part of the Bethel Orchestra, several Core Classes, and a regular part of our church since 2013. Jagila joined the Bethel family more recently in 2018. Our goal in hosting these conversations is that we would grow in our understanding of different experiences, expand our capacity for empathy, and model healthy conversations around topics that are often hard to talk about.
Thank you to Shontarius and Jagila for sharing from their hearts about how they see the good news of Jesus impacting their thoughts and actions regarding these important conversations.
