Family Movie Night

We are excited to let you know about a fall emphasis we are planning to encourage parents here at Bethel Church. FamilyLife has produced a new small group series called the Art of Parenting. This 8-session, video-based study is designed to not only help parents find new ways to integrate faith into everyday parenting moments, but also to create an environment where moms and dad can shoulder burdens together, celebrate breakthroughs, and relate to one another’s day to day parenting journey.

To go along with this study, FamilyLife has produced their first feature length film. Like Arrows follows Charlie and Alice over a journey of 50 years, exploring the challenges of joys of raising children. Produced by Alex and Stephen Kendrick (who produced Fireproof, Courageous, and War Room) Dennis and Barbara Rainey and Bob Lepine, Like Arrows casts a powerful vision for parents and families.

We will show Like Arrows at our Fall Family Movie night, Wednesday, August 28th (6:30 p.m.) here at Bethel in the Family Life Center. Join us for popcorn and a movie with your family! You can see the trailer and learn more about the movie here.

Then, in September, we will start Art of Parenting groups and encourage all Small Groups with parents to use the Art of Parenting study. If you would like to learn more about the Art of Parenting, you can go to this link for more information and to preview the first session.
