In the late 1800’s a group of people came together to dream about what could happen if they planted a church in downtown Fargo. First known as “The Mission Church” this group has experienced the outpouring of God’s Spirit for over 120 years. Today, Bethel Evangelical Free Church continues to introduce people to Jesus and help them grow in their faith. Individuals, families, and entire communities around the world are impacted by people who have called this place home. The community of believers which makes up Bethel Church is a community where God is at work. Much like the early church, our community has its challenges. As a group of sinners saved by grace, we know that until Jesus returns we’ll have our challenges AND we’re also a group who is still dreaming and still expecting great things as God directs our steps. We’re going to see in Hebrews 10:19-25 how God wants us to keep joining together, expecting His Spirit to do what only He can to make us into the community He wants us to be.
