Wisdom from the Wise Men

The journey of the Magi (wise men) travelling from the East, Babylon to Bethlehem, brings up several deductions: (1) the Magi had knowledge of the birth of the Messiah ; (2) they were led by a miraculous star; (3) they knew scripture well enough to know where the Messiah would be born—in Bethlehem; (4) once they arrived at the stable in Bethlehem the Magi worshipped the new born King which was heightened  by the giving of gifts; gold, frankincense and myrrh, gifts worthy of a king.
