New Name, Same Mission

The goal of our Core Classes, formerly known as Adult Bible Fellowships, is to offer learning opportunities that help you live out our mission with the head (your convictions), the heart (your character), and the hands (your competency). We offer Core Classes each fall, winter/spring, and summer to aid in your spiritual growth.

Discipleship Explored

What’s the best love you’ve ever known? Discipleship Explored has been crafted to help followers of Jesus discover and rejoice in the confidence, unity, righteousness, and love which is theirs in Christ. Documentary-style films shot around the world open each of the eight sessions in our journey through Paul’s letter to the Philippians. Learn together what it means to be a follower of Jesus and find the best love you will ever know.

Journey through the Bible
Led by Dr. Ken Hanna – Room D

Join us for a systematic book-by-book study of the Bible. Explore the message and meaning of each book and discover its relevance for our faith and life. Beginning in Genesis we’ll study one book each week as we journey through the entire Bible.

Friends (Special Needs Class for Adults)
Led by Brenda Hansen, Chris Miller, Randy Finley, and Ramona Burchill – Room A
Our Friends class is a Bible study for adults with developmental disabilities. Lessons are ability-appropriate and use the intellect of the individual as well as music and crafts to encourage the understanding of Bible stories, helping others, prayer, and Jesus Christ. We believe regardless of disability God has equipped all his people to know Him in a personal way. Appropriate age is teenage and above.

Sunday Afternoon – 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Christianity Explored
Led by Pastor Craig Johnson – Room B
February 10-March 3
This 4 session class will take men and women on a journey through the gospel of Mark to discover who Jesus is, why He came, and what it means to follow Him. Come experience the person of Jesus! This is also part of our pathway to becoming a voting member of Bethel Church. A great opportunity for everyone! There is no cost for this class.
