New Name, Same Mission
The goal of our Core Classes, formerly known as Adult Bible Fellowships, is to offer learning opportunities that help you live out our mission with the head (your convictions), the heart (your character), and the hands (your competency). We offer Core Classes each fall, winter/spring, and summer to aid in your spiritual growth.

Journey Through the Bible
9 a.m. Sundays, started September 12 in Room E
Dr. Ken Hanna is leading us through a systematic, book-by-book study of the minor prophets of the Old Testament. This will be followed by a careful study of the book of Revelation. The entire Bible story concludes with God’s triumph, and the inauguration of His eternal plan as it is revealed in Revelation. What God began in Genesis reaches a climax with everything made new.
9 a.m. Sundays, October 3-24 in Room C
Led by Jeff Nelson
Christianity Explored is a class that will take men and women on a journey through the gospel of Mark to discover who Jesus is, why He came and what it means to follow Him. Come experience the person of Jesus! This is also part of our pathway to becoming a voting member of Bethel Church.
10:45 a.m. Sundays, October 10-May 22 in Room A
Our Friends class is a Bible study for adults with developmental disabilities. Lessons are ability-appropriate and use the intellect of the individual as well as music and crafts to encourage the understanding of Bible stories, helping others, prayer, and Jesus Christ. We believe regardless of disability God has equipped all his people to know Him in a personal way.

Jesus, Gentle and Lowly
6:30 p.m.-7:45 p.m. Wednesdays, September 29-December 8 in Room E
Led by Craig Johnson
Who is Jesus? What is his deepest heart for his people, weary and faltering on their journey toward heaven? Jesus described himself in Matt. 11 as “gentle and lowly in heart.” Join us for this 10 week Small Group study as we consider the heart of Christ for sinners and sufferers. Each week we will reflect on different aspects of the heart of Jesus, through video, reading, and discussion. Free copies of the book Gentle and Lowly will be available to each participant.
