Welcome to episode 44 of Quarantime with God! My name is Andre, and I’m a senior at Ada-Borup West. Psalm 56:3-4 says, “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise—in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” Happy May Day! You’ve survived April, along with its pandemics, quarantines, masks, and online classes. Were you afraid? Are you still afraid? When David wrote this Psalm, his enemies had seized him. David put his trust in God, who comforted and protected us.
