We are always looking for people to fill the following roles. Please prayerfully consider how you might step into a role of supporting Upward Sports and let us know if you’re interested in being a part of it!
Volunteer Opportunities
Referee
Controlling the flow of the game with Upward’s unique rules (training provided)
Monitor (halls/entry)
Walk church hallways/areas around gym making sure no guests are wandering too far from the gym area.
Greeter
Greet parents and students as they enter the building.
Scorekeeper
Keep score at a provided table on the table top scoreboard (manually flipping numbers)
Time Keeper
Alerting referees, coaches, and players of time remaining (stopwatches provided)
Half-Time Devotion
Share a 5 minute devotion to players and parents attending the game (microphone provided)
Set Up/Tear Down
Assist Director in preparing gym on game day and closing down the gym after games end
Concessions
Serve drinks and food to patrons from the gym kitchen window.
