Bethel Church announces “Brokenness”, its first-ever juried art exhibition in conjunction with Pastor Andy Veith’s sermon series “After God’s Own Heart – A Story of David”. Entrance into the exhibition is open to anyone ages 16 and up wishing to present visual work representing the concept of brokenness centering around the theme of David as exhibited in 2 Samuel 12 and Psalm 51. Application is open to anyone-you do not have to be a member or regular attender of Bethel Church to participate. “Brokenness” will be on display from July 22 – September 10. Applications are available online or at the front desk, and any and all questions should be directed Gretchen Barker – or call 701.232.4476.

Prizes will be awarded as follows:

  • 1st Prize – $250
  • 2nd Prize – $100
  • 3rd Prize – $75
  • People’s Choice – $50

Important dates and deadlines

May 27 – July 16 – Applications available in the office and at the Information Desk

July 16, 12 p.m. – Applications and artwork due for submission at the main office.

July 19 – Jury selection

July 20 – Notice date – all applicants will be notified by email of the status of their entry.

July 22 – Exhibition opening – Reception after second service in Solid Grounds

July 23 – July 26 – Artwork not selected available for pick up in Main Office

September 11 – September 13 – Pick up artwork at Main Office after close of exhibition
