Bethel Church is thrilled to host author and speaker Christopher Yuan for the Holy Sexuality™ Conference. In a world filled with confusion about sexuality and gender, Dr. Yuan seeks to provide a Christ-centered understanding of this subject rooted in the gospel that is full of grace and Biblical truth.
COST:
Cost to attend conference is FREE. Registration helps us have the right amount of resources and volunteers to meet the demands of attendance. Lunch can be purchased for $10 per person. More details will be available with registration in August.

With all the confusion today regarding sexuality and gender, we do encourage school-aged kids and youth to attend with you. Allow this to be a unique and much-needed opportunity to have gospel-centered discussions afterward about God’s beautiful and good design for sex and gender. Let’s be the first to discuss gender and sexuality with our kids, not the world!
Parents, you have the God-given responsibility to take the lead to shepherd, disciple, and educate your children on biblical sexuality. We want to equip and come alongside you. As the parent, you decide whether to include your young child or not.

About the Speakers
Dr. Christopher Yuan
Dr. Christopher Yuan is a leading authority on biblical sexuality and gender, known for his clear, gospel-centered teachings that illuminate complex and often contentious topics. With unshakable clarity and a deep commitment to Scripture, Dr. Yuan challenges cultural paradigms, offering a Christ-centered approach to understanding identity and holy living.
He is the author of Holy Sexuality and the Gospel, a celebrated book that was named 2020 Resource of the Year for Social Issues by Outreach Magazine. This work inspires readers to move beyond societal labels of sexual identity, encouraging full surrender to Christ, and a life of holy sexuality.
Dr. Yuan’s expertise is uniquely informed by his personal experiences, advanced health sciences studies, and rigorous theological education. He has taught the Bible and a theology of sexuality at Moody Bible Institute for 12 years and is the creator of The Holy Sexuality Project, a groundbreaking video series that empowers parents and grandparents to confidently disciple their teens on biblical sexuality and gender at home. Angela Yuan
Angela Yuan has experienced much heartache in her life; absentee parents, a broken marriage, and a prodigal son who was hopeless and unreachable. But on the brink of despair, Angela found a God who knew her deepest need and she began a journey with Jesus which carried her through the valleys and mountain tops of life.
Born in Szechuan Province, China, she immigrated to the United States in 1964, later marrying Leon Yuan and raising two sons. Angela has spent countless hours volunteering as the founder and president of I-CARE (Illinois Chinese-American Residence for the Elderly). In addition, she has been highly involved with Bible Study Fellowship International, serving in leadership for more than thirteen years, and was a part of the pioneering team invited by the Chinese communist government to start BSF in Beijing.
