Ep. 29 – Loving Others Who are Hard to Love (feat. Bethel Students)
April 10, 2025
STUDENT MINISTRY AT BETHEL CHURCH
Cultivating a community for students to love God, love others, and serve the world.
We gather during the summer to Love God, Love Others, and Serve the World through Bible studies, service days, missions trips, and camps. Our goal is to pour into students throughout the year, including the summer months.
Summer Bible Study – Middle School
Wednesdays, 6:30-8:30 PM, Room 120
June 4 – August 13
Summer Bible Study – High School
Thursdays, 6:30-8:30 PM, at the Jackson home
June 5 – August 14
We love having our students serve in any area they feel led by the Lord. One of the ways dozens of our students serve every summer is to by helping to make VBS an incredible week for the kids in our church and community. Students will help teach the word of God and share the gospel with kids. Serving this week gives a Biblical understanding of discipleship what it should look like. We hope you can join us! Sign up to serve here: www.bethelfc.com/vbs
Students are invited to serve at our local sports camp this summer!
August 4-8
Middle School Camp is an opportunity for our 6th-8th grade students to spend an extended period of time together. Our desire is to provide a space for our students to study God’s word, grow closer to one another, and have some fun for multiple days. Join us for this week to love God and love others as we get down and focus on God together. This is also the first major opportunity for our incoming class to join in on what Middle School Ministry is doing, so it is a great opportunity to get connected and make some new friends.
We’re so excited you’re coming along! Questions? Email students@bethelfc.com
Our middle school ministry (6-8th grade) meets weekly on Wednesday nights during the Fall and Spring school semesters (September – April) from 6pm-8pm @ Bethel.
When you arrive at the Northwest doors of our campus, head into the gym to your right to find all the fun! It’s hard to miss.
Doors open at 5:45 pm, we end at 8:00 pm.
We meet on Wednesdays to cultivate community and disciple-making. We want to help every teenager in our church understand how they can Love God, Love Others, and Serve the World. This is why we love spending time weekly with your amazing students!
We have electronic check-in for every student, ensuring their safety and our ability to contact you if necessary. Each student receives a printed name tag, and we have all parent information on hand.
We start with a variety of activities, followed by Gospel-centered teaching. We encourage every teen to bring a bible, notebook, and water bottle. We then have about an hour in Life Groups, where students can discuss the truth that was just taught. Our dedicated life group leaders show up weekly to guide and support the same group of students.
We encourage parents to get to know our Life Group leaders and ask their students what they are learning and who they are getting to know. We understand how important parenting is and want to encourage you in any way we can as you raise your teens to love and obey Jesus.

One of the reasons we have Middle School and High School separate is to give our High School students an opportunity to serve with our Middle School students. We have a variety of ways for our students to do that. Part of our heart behind this rhythm is to make sure that our students are having the opportunity to disciple others before they graduate. We have them join alongside adult leaders to learn how to disciple others to love God, love others, and serve the world throughout their whole life.

What is a discord server?
A discord server is a collection of text and voice chats that is protected by an invite link, making each server specific to a community.
Specifically, our discord server is built for our students, parents, and leaders to engage together. You can talk with others through text or voice, play games, answer a daily question, ask for prayer requests, and more.
