Encore holds monthly special events to provide fellowship, community, discipleship, and recreation opportunities for senior adults, age 65+. We enjoy destination events and overnight stays, providing opportunities to enjoy closer fellowship. We encourage you to become part of what is happening in the Encore Senior Adult Ministry at Bethel!

Tuesday, January 14, 2 p.m., Family Life Center
Encore will start the new year with Churches United. Pastor Sue Koesterman, Chief Executive Officer, along with Brady McClaflin, Community Relations Manager, will join us and share information about their program and the spiritual impact it has on our community.
Tuesday, February 11, 2 p.m., Family Life Center
Debra Parks will share her passion for serving others through her Ministry in Russia. She has a short video capturing the atmosphere of the Friendship English Language Camp in Russia and will share her photo’s and Russian souvenirs.
Tuesday, March 10, 2 p.m., Family Life Center
We will tour the NDSU Plant Sciences Greenhouse. NDSU, a national leader in crop research, has one of the most state of the art Greenhouses in the US. This 33.5 million dollar facility will be full of the research crops planted in January.
Tuesday, April 14, 2 p.m., Family Life Center
Gary Johnson of the Better Business Bureau, will discuss his program “Be Wise, Be Informed, Be Empowered”. Gary will cover topics like Scam Alerts, BBB Business Reviews, and how to empower yourself to take action to protect yourself and others in today’s marketplace.

Recent Encore Events:
Sueann Chase and friends led Encore in festive music and a Christmas carol sing-along. We enjoyed a holiday treats potluck.
We had our Veterans Day Celebration with a potluck luncheon and honored the heroes in our country’s military.
Justin and Sarah Moline sharee their testimonies and passion for serving others through Master’s Heart Ministries, an initiative that brings hope to impoverished communities through clean water initiatives, training in income-generating skills, teaching English, medical outreach, farming techniques, and evangelism.
Encore kicked off the 2019-2020 year with a Fellowship Concert featuring Beyond Blue.
The Fargo Theater hosted a private movie viewing of I Can Only Imagine.
Gary and Jan Herr shared music and fellowship with Encore.
Jim Johnson shared his collection of player pianos, music boxes, and phonographs.
