Encore holds monthly special events to provide fellowship, community, discipleship, and recreation opportunities for senior adults, age 65+. We enjoy destination events and overnight stays, providing opportunities to enjoy closer fellowship. We encourage you to become part of what is happening in the Encore Senior Adult Ministry at Bethel!

Fall kick-off event! Join us for an evening of food, fellowship, and music by the Fladlands with Loy Larson & special guest. Their musical stylings encompass traditional bluegrass, country, and gospel. The evening begins with a potluck dinner at 5:30 pm. If you are able, please bring a dish to share. Darwin and Darlis Anderson of International Messengers (IM), a mission agency founded by their friend, Bob Rasmusson, a former Bethel Church youth pastor in the 70’s, will join us sharing of their roles within IM, of serving the staff care team and developing a rest & debriefing place in Rapid City, South Dakota for global workers, both from IM and other mission agencies. Refreshments will be served.

Did you or your spouse serve in the US Armed Forces? We invite you to display memorabilia and share a story of your service with Encore. Our afternoon begins with a potluck lunch followed by our celebration to honor our veterans. If you are able, please bring a dish to share.

Pastor Anthony Hubin and team will lead Encore in a Christmas carol sing-a-long. We’ll also enjoy a holiday white elephant exchange and a treats potluck, so please bring an unwanted, wrapped gift to exchange and a plate of Christmas goodies to share, if you are able.
