Ready, Set, Move | June 12 -14 2023
We are PUMPED to READY, SET, MOVE this Summer! We will spend four days together learning from our best example of HOW to be a disciple— JESUS! We will follow Jesus here, there, and everywhere as we disciple kids to BELIEVE in who Jesus is, DO what Jesus says, LOVE who Jesus loves, and GO where Jesus leads!
Cost is $10/child with a max of $25/family.
Registration will open April 30.
Our desire in Bethel Kids Ministry is to be gospel-centered. We want kids to see that the Bible is not about us. It’s one big story, all about Jesus! We strive to shift our focus from behavior modification to heart transformation, doing whatever we can to raise up true disciples of Jesus. Above all, we desperately want the kids to trust in the gospel alone for everything.
On Sunday Mornings we use a curriculum called The Gospel Project in all of our classrooms. This curriculum helps kids dive into the big story of the Bible— God’s plan to rescue His people through His Son Jesus Christ. For more information on this curriculum, you can visit: https://gospelproject.lifeway.com/kids/ .
Bethel Kids Sunday School – 9 a.m. ONLY
New to Bethel Kids?
Please plan to arrive 15 to 20 minutes before the service starts. When you arrive, look for the Kids Welcome Desk. Register with us so we can get to know you and your children, and we’ll help you find the right classroom.
After you are registered, you and your child will be given matching security tags that are unique to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the nametag portion which bears a code that is matched to your portion of the nametag. When you return to your child’s classroom you will need to show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
If your child needs you during the service, we’ll contact you by sending you a text. Please have your phone on vibrate and be aware of your messages during service.

What is Parent/Child Dedication?
Parent/Child Dedication is a commitment to raise your child in a Gospel-centered home while taking the lead role in your child’s discipleship. This dedication is not a statement of salvation for your child, but rather a statement of how you will raise your child.
While not a command of Scripture, parent/child dedication can be a beautiful symbol. It should be done with a community of believers who know you personally and can commit to walking with you in this commitment. This is why we, at Bethel participate with you. As you acknowledge your responsibility to raise your child(ren) in a Gospel-centered home taking an active role in your child’s discipleship, we as your church family, are making a similar commitment to you, the parent(s), to come alongside you and help you in this discipleship journey.
I want to Dedicate my child(ren).
Great! We are excited that you wish to dedicate your child to the Lord! We look forward to walking alongside you in your parenting journey! You’ll need to attend our 45-minute Parent/Child Dedication class, which is offered the Sunday before dedication dates. It’s a great way to get to know our staff, learn about dedication, and prepare for the ceremony. Your child(ren) are welcome to attend the class with you.
Children must be registered BEFORE attending the Child dedication class. This helps us know how many families to expect in the class.
Parents who have dedicated a previous child are NOT required to attend the Parent/Child Dedication class.
2023 Dates:
- May 14
- November 19

Children’s D-Groups
Sundays 9 a.m.-10 a.m. at the Kindred High School – Not Meeting May 28-September 3, 2023
The time we have our kids at home is short – it’s crucial that we make every effort to point them to God’s Word as the only real source of truth & hope in our world today! Discipleship groups for kids will be held from 9 a.m.-10 a.m. every Sunday prior to church at Kindred High School. This is a wonderful way of deepening your kid’s faith by meaningful time in God’s Word with application to everyday life. You won’t want to miss this for your kids!
