We desire to develop men into a culture of learners who are growing mature in mission (loving God, loving others, and serving the world) through transformational relationships.
Job: A 12-week study
Wednesdays, 6:30 am
January 10 – March 20
In this 12-week study, Eric Ortlund helps us see the trustworthiness of God in the midst of our trials. Through the agony and pain experienced by Job, we catch a glimpse of God’s purposes for our suffering as we look ahead to the restoration of all things in the new creation. The book of Job deals with the sovereignty of God and the problem of suffering. We, like Job, don’t always understand the reasons behind our pain. Join the men of Bethel Wednesday mornings at 6:30 am beginning January 10 in room 112. To sign up in advance or purchase a book for $6, contact HollyHanson@BethelFC.com.
(September – May)
Men's Fraternity is designed to help us grow as followers of God together with other men. Through learning, interaction and discussion (and breakfast at the Friday morning group!), men will find this a great environment to get to know others as we together grow in following Jesus, being changed by Jesus, and being committed to the mission of Jesus.
Fearless: The Final Days of Jesus
Wednesdays, February 7 – March 20
6:30 pm in Room C
Fridays, February 9 – March 22
6:30 am in the Family Life Center
“At the heart, Christianity is Jesus. And the story of Jesus is more than just a story—it is true history.” Men, join us for this follow up study as we look at the last days of the life of Jesus. What does history tell us about the last days of Jesus, his death, burial and resurrection? What does that mean for our life of faith? Join us for the seven-week study that will lead up to Resurrection Sunday. Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm beginning February 7 in Room C or Friday mornings at 6:30 am beginning February 9 in the FLC. Contact HollyHanson@BethelFC.com with any questions.
