I prayed for this

Prayed for 10 times.

I have been praying for a few years that my (now 20 yr. old) son would willingly receive in-patient alcohol treatment. He has been in denial for quite some time regarding his alcohol abuse. More recently his drinking has worsened & has finally vocalized he is indeed worried about his drinking!! The Lord has answered my steadfast prayers with a blessing in disguise!!! He is now been in- in-patient treatment coming up on 3 weeks. He is eager to get out & start over. However I am worried it may be too soon. He needs prayers to follow “God’s Plans” for him. Another blessing is that the Lord has removed him from his house he had been living in which was a very toxic environment including those surrounding him!

I am now asking for & would Love & appreciate prayers that after he has completed treatment that he would continue AA, counseling &/or a Living Free group to maintain his sobriety along with a sponsor. He will turn 21 next month & it will be a difficult road to follow as most of his friends are casual drinkers. Prayers that he would turn to the Lord in all circumstances, difficulties & evil temptations. That he would establish a Personal Relationship w/the Lord & live for Him & give him the strength he needs to overcome this difficult journey. He also needs prayers for God to show him the path he has laid out for him- he needs direction & the ability to HEAR God speaking to him so that he may fulfill God’s plans for his future! And to learn to lean on & turn to the Lord in everything he does.

Thank so much for your continued prayers- it truly means so much to me!!
