I prayed for this

Prayed for 5 times.

Holland is out of surgery and things went well! His heart function is great, echo pre/post looked great, and surgeon is pleased with how things look and went. They were able to do the Glenn and placating of the diaphragm using the same chest incision. He is still sedated although he has started waking up so they gave him more meds so he is able to remain comfortable at this point. They will do some pressure support trials and bloodwork to determine how hard he is working before they extubate which will hopefully be today or tomorrow. The goal is to keep him comfortable without being too sedated while maintaining healthy numbers and levels. The drs and nurses say, “He looks great.” Please continue to pray for full and complete healing. Thank you everyone for praying for Holland to get this surgery. We are one step closer to bringing him home.
