This summer, our church family is hosting a three-day soccer camp with a clear and prayerful purpose: to reach the children and families in our community with the love and message of Jesus Christ. This camp is designed for kids ages 6–12 who live in and around our Bethel Church campus, creating a fun, welcoming environment where children can learn, grow, and build meaningful relationships. Each year, we seek the Lord’s direction for how He would have us grow in discipleship, missions, and outreach. This summer, the Lord has made the mission clear—reach our own community. Throughout the camp, children will receive quality soccer instruction, participate in engaging activities, and hear the good news of Jesus Christ in an age-appropriate and relational way. We are grateful to partner with Butch from J316 Ministries, who will help train and lead our team throughout the camp. Our desire is not only to provide a great camp experience, but also to create meaningful connections with children and families that extend beyond these three days. As a tangible expression of God’s love, this camp will be offered at a minimal cost to help make it accessible for families in our community. We invite you to prayerfully consider how your family might participate—by enrolling your child, praying for the week, or helping spread the word to others. Our hope is that through this camp, children will feel welcomed, cared for, and clearly hear the hope of Jesus Christ as we love our neighbors right where God has placed us. 

This soccer camp is a unique opportunity for our church to love our neighbors in a tangible and relational way while faithfully sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For families, it creates a welcoming environment where children are cared for, encouraged, and clearly pointed to the hope found in trusting Jesus. For those serving, it is a chance to step into God’s mission right here in our own community—to build relationships, listen well, and reflect Christ through both words and actions. Soccer simply opens the door; the greater purpose is helping children hear the truth of the Gospel, inviting families into meaningful connection, and doing all we can to know, serve, and walk alongside our neighbors as they become part of our church family.
