Psalms
The book of Psalms is a collection of 150 Hebrew songs, poems, and prayers from all different periods in Israel’s history. Many of the Psalms, reveal and express the raw emotions and feelings of the author, all of which we can identify with. Themes like – fear, doubt, tragedy, as well as triumph, joy, and hope.
As we explore a handful of the Psalms, let’s focus our attention not only on ourselves and all we experience in this life, but more importantly on God and His sovereign purposes. Because what you think about God will affect whether you live your life, God-reliant or self-reliant. What you think about God will determine how you see and experience life. Where you will choose to put your trust (in God or man). What you think about God will affect your level of gratitude and generosity, your ability to love and forgive.
With soft hearts let’s allow God to teach us and reassure us of His love, compassion, forgiveness, guidance, and care.
